About Paul M Puziss, MD

Paul Puziss, MD, is an orthopedic specialist at Puziss Orthopedics of Portland in Beaverton, Oregon. He is board-certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

He completed his undergraduate education at the University of Washington (UW), majoring in chemistry, and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Epsilon Delta. Dr. Puziss then received his medical degree with honors from UW, where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

Dr. Puziss completed his internship and residency in general surgery at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California, before completing an orthopedic residency program at the University of California, Irvine, with affiliated hospitals. Prior to establishing his practice, he has worked as an emergency room physician consulting physician, as well as in private practice.

Dr. Puziss was the first to perform arthroscopic shoulder surgery in Oregon in 1989 and develop technics for many types of conditions of the shoulder over many years.

At Paul M. Puziss M.D. – Puziss Orthopedics, Dr. Puziss offers a variety of treatments for any orthopedic pain or disability.

He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners, and licensed to practice medicine in California, Oregon, and Washington. Dr. Puziss is a member of the American Medical Association, Oregon Medical Association, Western Orthopedic Association, American Association of Integrative Medicine, Spine Intervention Society, Oregon Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and American College of Sports Medicine.

Dr. Puziss holds several hospital affiliations in Portland, including Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center, Providence St. Vincent Medical Center, and Adventist Health Portland.
